What a fantastic restaurant with wonderful service and food. Excellent choice of wine. Best meal of our two week holiday.

What a find! We live in France and love to discover new villages and restaurants. We went for lunch before a hike and had the menu de jour and it was perfect. Delicious and light on a hot summer day. Service was great, wine and water were ice cold. Bonus points for linen napkins!

I eat at Le Phare de Jeanne often and I always have the best of times. Whether I’m there for a quick bite or a long lazy lunch, the menu, service, atmosphere and welcome are excellent. It’s exactly what you want… a dependable, unfussy restaurant serving good value, delicious and locally sourced food.

Superb spot to quietly experience a delicious meal Greeted with genuine warmth and friendliness. We had a reservation and were led to a table of our choosing on the terrace Menu described the meals and the ordering process was smooth Meals were beautifully presented, tasty and frites were so hot (I had to wait for them to cool a little)

We ate here yesterday and we had a wonderful time. The chef and his wife were so welcoming and friendly. Our French is moderate, but they were very patient, explaining the menu. They made a very special desert for our 17y old daughter who was with us. Gazpacho was very nice, the beef and fish were good. Home made French fries. All was good. But best was their kindness and friendliness! Thank you so much!

The most amazing restaurant I have been to in the south of France. The chef Xavier creates the most wonderful food, and the owner Marina makes it extremely special. A must visit!

Had a lovely lunch at this restaurant with outside eating area and beautifully cooked and presented food. The owners were extremely friendly and very patiently explained the menu for poor English speakers!

You're not going here for chic and style. You're going for the food, service, wine and attention to detail. You walk into the entrance and the pond has some of the largest and most Impressive carp you've seen before you realise the effort and dedication put into the topiary. Forget the outside furniture or the inside decor. This place is all about the food and the experience. Six of us ate. Starters of fish tartare, half crab, crevettes, pate and fruit de mere were all excellent with on point accompaniments that dazzled the taste buds. Very good portion sizes too. We all had swordfish done various ways. Again the texture flavours and cooking were amazing. We settled for carafe white and rosé wines which were an excellent match and accompaniment The chef and his wife were engaging, entertaining and welcoming. One desert of fresh strawberries and Chantilly was fresh and delicious. Nothing to fault and a wonderful dining experience.
